Ever since Kamal Haasan held a press meet at his Chennai residence in protest against the ban imposed on his flick Viswaroopam and to explain about the mortgage, Fans of the legendary actor came forward to support him financially. DDs and Money Orders have been flooded in the name of Rajkamal Films International to Kamal's office.
This touching gesture from the fans showed immense caliber of one of the finest artists in the country. Now the actor has directed his staff to return back all the DDs and Money Orders which were sent to him. Kamal showed his dignity by initiating the process and this move also shows how much he cares for his fans.
On the other hand, Viswaroopam is gearing up for a massive release in Tamilnadu on February 7. Around 600 screens were booked (highest ever release) and a humongous opening is expected. Wish the film turns into a money spinner to cover the losses (Rs 30-60 crore) incurred to Kamal.
