Bihar: Along With Nitish Kumar, His Deputies Too To Take Oath Today!

Update: 2020-11-16 09:11 GMT
The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) which claimed victory in the Bihar Assembly Polls chaired a meeting on Sunday and formally named Nitish Kumar as the leader of the government.

Despite winning more seats than the Janata Dal (United), the BJP kept its election promise and went for Nitish Kumar as Chief Minister pawing way for his fourth term as Bihar CM.

However, the NDA surprised everyone by not naming Sushil Kumar Modi as the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar who made his mark in the state as the Deputy Chief Minister.

Reports claim that Modi will be given a post in the Union Cabinet, but there is no official confirmation on this.

Nitish Kumar is said to take oath today in Patna as the Chief Minister. Reports also claim that his two Deputy Chief Ministers Tarkishore Prasad and Renu Devi will also take oath today.

The data claimed that minorities and the backward castes in Bihar have voted for the NDA alliance which helped the alliance to form the government and secure three more seats than the magical figure.

It is said that this is why the BJP picked Tarkishore Prasad and Renu Devi as Deputy Chief Ministers who hail from the backward castes.

Reports also claim that Vijendra Yadav, Vijay Choudhary, Ashok Choudhary, Mewalal Choudhary, and Sheela Mandal of Janata Dal-United and BJP's Mangal Pandey and Rampreet Paswan found a place in Nitish Kumar's cabinet.
