Bill Gates bats to not share Covid-19 vaccine recipes with developing countries

All the countries in the world have one agenda in common, which is to eradicate the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic as soon as possible. Efforts by the nations in this regard are underway.

When the countries are working towards the agenda, American business magnate, co-founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, known for his philanthropy works has made controversial statements.

In an interview with Sky News, Bill Gates said, the Coronavirus formulas should not be shared with developing countries, including India. His statements have surprised everyone.

During the interview, the Microsoft co-founder was asked if changes can be made in the intellectual property law so that the Covid-19 vaccine formulas can be shared with the world. Replying to the question, Bill Gates said "No".

When asked to elaborate on his stand on vaccine sharing, Bill Gates said: There are several factories in the world that manufacture vaccines, and people are very serious about vaccine safety.

On the other hand, Bill Gates has bated for sharing vaccine formulas with developed countries like the United States, United Kingdom, and others so that other countries could receive free vaccine doses.

Bill Gates even reportedly said he had already got the vaccine formulas from leading Pharma giants like Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson.
