Telangana Minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao had kickstarted a political storm by saying that the neighboring state is suffering from a lack of facilities and his friend who went there had highlighted his plight during his brief stay in the state.
The Telangana Rashtra Samithi Working President KTR is said to have taken a dig at the facilities in the fellow Telugu state Andhra Pradesh. He said that there is no power supply and water supply and the roads are in a horrible condition.
Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana had hit back at KTRâs comments and alleged that Telangana capital Hyderabad has no power and to deal with the power crisis he had to hire a power generator to get power.
Drawing a comparison between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Botsa said that if KTR comes to Andhra Pradesh then he will show how the roads should be built to the IT Minister KTR.
Giving counters to other politicians and defending his state is not bad. But the Minister should think twice before passing such comments that too when talking about pearl city Hyderabad which is attracting global companies. Recently Google announced that it will set up a campus in the city and the foundation stone was also laid.
