BJP Call Centre To Support Christian Missionaries?

Update: 2019-07-26 08:15 GMT
If you thought the BJP is anti-Christian, think again. The BJP is now opening a 24X7 call centre to help the Christian missionaries. Sounds unbelievable? Yes. The BJP unit of Mizoram, a predominantly Christian state, is all set to launch a helpline for the missionaries, who face problems while preaching gospel. The call centre will take up issues faced by Mizo missionaries working anywhere in the country.

The call centre will be launched by BJP Mizoram state president Hluana. He said the cell would be headed by former secretary of mines L Changathe. It will have a secretary and four members. They would help the missionaries work without any problems. According to Hluana, the BJP has a huge network across the country and will be able to help the Mizo missionaries who are in trouble anywhere in the country.

The BJP in Mizoram wants to erase the stigma of being a Hindu party. It is reaching out to the Christians in a big way. The call centre is one such attempt to address the Christian concerns, especially in Mizoram. The state has 95 per cent Christian population.
