Has Central Leadership Warned AP BJP On Getting Close To TDP?

Update: 2020-04-23 11:12 GMT
The Central BJP leadership, it appears, is not so happy with the way things are happening in Andhra Pradesh. The Central leadership is upset at the kind of attacks the BJP is launching on the state government at a time when it is embroiled in anti-Corona fight. It feels that the BJP in AP is playing into the hands of the TDP.

The Central leadership appears to be of the opinion that the BJP should keep equal distance from both the YSRCP and the TDP and should not be seen as furthering TDP's agenda. Of late, the state leadership is being seen as increasingly closer to the TDP. Some of the statements issued by Kanna Lakshminarayana, president of AP BJP, looked very much like TDP handouts. Significantly, the BJP state spokesperson P Raghuram issued a statement on Thursday criticising the TDP for its negative politics in times of Corona. He said that instead of offering suggestions, the Opposition TDP was involved in putting spokes in the work of the government.  This statement is being seen as a significant one in view of the allegations that Kanna Lakshminarayana was doing the bidding of Chandrababu Naidu.

Even party's national president JP Nadda too advised the party leaders to focus on taking up service activities and provide help to the migrant labourers. Interestingly, He too advised the state BJP leadership to maintain equal distance from both ruling YSRCP and the opposition TDP and chart out its own course in the state.
