Will Bollywood Oblige BJP Request?

Update: 2018-07-17 13:56 GMT
The BJP, which wants to win the 2019 elections by hook or crook, is now planning to rope in top guns from Bollywood to contest from key seats. The BJP has already begun consultations with several heroes. It is also trying to bring top industrialists and key sports personalities for its 2019 electoral battle.

The BJP, which swept the North India, is finding that there are some problems in Gujarat, Chhattisgardh, Jharkhand and Bihar states and that it might not replicate the 2014 result. Also, there are 120 Lok Sabha seats in the country, where the BJP has not won even once. To win these tough seats, it wants the help from Bollywood biggies.

It tried the same trick in 2014 and roped in Kiran Kher, Paresh Rawal, Babul Supriyo, Manoj Tiwary and Rajya Vardhan Rathore to win tough seats. This time around it wants to field Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher and Nana Patekar. Nana will likely be fielded form Maharashtra, while Akshay might be asked to fight from Delhi. However, Akshay is not an Indian citizen. The BJP reportedly asked him to secure an Indian citizenship quickly. Meanwhile, none of the actors have opened up on the offer from the BJP. Let’s wait and see how things unfold.
