The recent spate of electoral victories has buoyed up the AP BJP. It is now planning to go to the people of AP with the slogan of "UP to AP." It is said to be mulling to adopt an all new and aggressive strategy to improve its fortunes in Andhra Pradesh.
The party feels that this slogan would help it make strategic gains in the all-important state in South India.
Meanwhile, there are reports that the BJP is planning to project Jana Sena chief and actor Pawan Kalyan as the CM candidate.
The BJP is in alliance with the Jana Sena and the blow-hot-blow-cold relation is continuing with the Jana Sena chief. Jana Sena chief is said to be miffed with the BJP. But, the BJP wants to placate him and bring him round.
The BJP sources say that Pawan Kalyan is a charismatic leader which popular appeal. He also comes from the numerically strong Kapu community.
