The fight between BJP and TRS turned intense as the Telangana Chief Minister is meeting various leaders in other states to gather support. He recently met Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and others. On the occasion, KCR lashed out at the BJP, for unleashing the central agencies at the opponents.
KCR stressed CBI raids in the state and urged the other Chief Ministers to come together to stop CBI raids in the state as the state governments can look into the matters by themselves and there is no need for central agencies.
It has to be mentioned here that earlier Chandrababu Naidu also did the same. He asked what is the need for CBI in the state. KCR's statements brought many comparisons with Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
Former Congress MLA Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy, who is now with Bharatiya Janata Party and is likely to run the upcoming Munugode by-polls reacted harshly to the comments made by KCR that the BJP would be defeated and he would shine in national politics.
The ex-legislator lashed out at KCR and drew a comparison between KCR and Chandrababu Naidu. Recalling how Chandrababu Naidu also dreamt of forming a non-BJP government at the centre and is going through a political crisis, the BJP leader predicted that KCR would also taste CBN's fate.
However, KCR facing Chandrababu Naidu-like fate is not possible anytime soon. There is no strong opposition in the state. TDP suffered a big loss after YCP shined and there is no YCP-like party in the state. Congress and BJP are not in a position to pose a big threat.
