Since the Covid-19 outbreak, former AP Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party(TDP) supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu has been confined to pearl city Hyderabad. The chief is staying in touch with party leaders through zoom meetings. He held several zoom meetings with the TDP leaders since the pandemic outbreak.
Talking about the same, the President of BJP party for the state of Andhra Pradesh Somu Veerraju has come down severely on Chandrababu Naidu and called him Non-Resident Leader.
He targeted the former Chief Minister addressing a meeting at the temple city Tirupati. The meeting was held to mark the occasion of leaders from other parties wearing BJP shawl.
The state chief lashed out at Naidu over TDP's flagship idea Amaravati when the Union Government declared the pearl city as the combined capital for the Telugu states for a decade.
Talking about the much anticipated Tirupati by-elections, he hinted at not having an alliance with the former ally TDP. He said their party will win the by-elections.
The Tirupati seat fell vacancy after ruling YSRCP's MP Balli Durga Prasad Rao passed away with a heart attack in September this year.
