AP BJP MLA Resigns! What's Up?

Update: 2018-12-25 10:35 GMT
BJP MLA Pydikondala Manikyala Rao tendered his resignation for the Assembly Membership to convey his dissatisfaction against the TDP Government. He accused TDP Government of failing to fulfil any of the 56 pending promises when it comes to development of his constituency.

Manikyala Rao issued an ultimatum to the AP CM Chandrababu Naidu seeking response within 15 days. 'I will take up indefinite fast if Government doesn't respond before the deadline,' he made it clear.

The Legislator alleged that State Government didn't bother to pay heed even after raising many issues in the Tadepalligudem Constituency. He slammed the Government for showing discrimination just because Tadepalligudem wasn't represented by a TDP MLA.

Sudden move of Manikyala Rao irked the AP Government. He served as Endowment Minister in the TDP Cabinet until alliance end in mid-2018.
