The BJP is trying hard to prove the point that the welfare schemes offered by the states are funded by it mostly and despite this, the states are getting the name. Earlier, it was reported that the BJP is worrying about bringing a system so that the benefits will reach the beneficiaries without the involvement of the states.
Keeping up the fight, the Telangana wing of Bharatiya Janata Party is fighting against the TRS alleging that the double-bedroom scheme was funded by the Centre and despite this, the houses were not given to the beneficiaries.
A BJP leader had knocked on the doors of the High Court on the same issue. During the hearing, the court asked a few questions to the state government. The Court sought details like, how many houses were built in the state so far and how many were given to the beneficiaries,
The petitioner had alleged that due to the political issues, the houses were not given to the beneficiaries. On the other hand, the lawyer representing the Telangana government said that the government is bound to hand over the houses to beneficiaries.
After hearing the arguments of both sides, the High Court had pushed the next hearing of the case to further. It is interesting to see how the Telangana government will deal with the new issue.
