The BJP has declared an all-out war for Telangana. The party is planning very big and is all set to encourage several grassroot workers from both the Congress and the TRS to join the BJP. The campaign will begin after Sankranthi.
Already a large number of TRS and Congress leaders have joined the BJP from Kamareddy and Nizamabad. Dichpally MPP, as many as 10 sarpanches, six MPTCs, several upa sarpanchs from Nizamabad district have joined the BJP.
Similarly, the names of key leaders such as Narsapur municipal chairperson Muralidhar Yadav have figured during the BJP meetings. He and several second rung TRS leaders are planning to join the BJP. TRS leaders from Chinna Shankarampet, Haveli Ghanpur, Ramayampet, Medak and narsapur mandals are also set to join the BJP.
Meanwhile, in Kamareddy district, key Congress leader and PCC general secretary MG Venugopal Gupta, TRS leaders Dr Siddaramulu and several others are set to join the BJP on Monday. Interestingly, most of those joining the BJP are those who had earlier been with the party. Finding no future in the party, they had joined the TRS and the Congress. Now they are coming back.
