BJP wants to see Pawan Kalyan as AP Chief Minister

Update: 2021-03-30 08:33 GMT
The saffron party Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP)'s move to field its candidate for the by-election in the temple city Tirupati has once again irked Pawan Kalyan fans and Jana Sena activists.

With Pawan Kalyan fans opposing the BJP's move on social media, the Andhra Pradesh wing of BJP has started to appease the Jana Sena chief and the party activists.

BJP Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narasimha Rao said, Pawan Kalyan is the Chief Minister candidate of the BJP-Janasena alliance for the next general elections in Andhra Pradesh.

The Rajya Sabha member reciprocated what Andhra Pradesh's State BJP president Somu Veerraju said.  Recently, the state chief said Pawan Kalyan will be the leader of Andhra Pradesh.

The appeasing statements from the BJP came in the wake of Janasena keeping its distance from the saffron party after Ratna Prabha was declared as the alliance candidate for Tirupati polls.

Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan urged his fans and supporters to work for the victory of BJP in the GHMC elections in Telangana. But there is no such statement or supporting statement from BJP's ally party.

Unlike Telangana, BJP has no cadre and strong leaders in Andhra Pradesh. The people in the state still hate the saffron party for not granting special category status and for the recent VSP issue. Having issues with Janasena will surely affect BJP in the forthcoming polls.
