Going into details, BJP activist Mayur Munde who is an evident follower of Narendra Modi had built a temple in Aundh area at a cost of Rs. 1,60,000 .
The temple had attracted huge criticism from the opposition parties which made the BJP leaders in Maharashtra remove the bust. They said they were not informed about the temple and they have opposed the decision of the party activist.
The BJP activist had constructed the temple as a bid to show his gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi for building Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
Reacting to the news,the NCP took a dig at BJP saying they are disappointed to hear the news. We wanted to offer prayers to the bust seeking the reduction of prices of fuel and food items. But the buat was removed before we offered prayers, the NCP leaders said.
