Rumors about bomb explode created panic at famous Dilsukh Nagar saibaba temple.The management and devotees of the Saibaba temple in Dilsukhnagar were forced to move out from the temple with the rumors.
As per reports an unidentified caller informed Saroornagar police station that a bomb has been planted on the premises of the temple. Responding to the call police reached the temple immediately along with dog squads and evacuated the devotees to take up intensive searches. Later it was proved as hoax call and devotees felt sigh of relief.
Dilsukhnagar Saibaba temple has been a target of the terrorists at least thrice earlier. The first bombing at the temple took place in November 2002.A bomb exploded in November 2002 injuring seven people. In 2007, a bomb was planted near the temple. However, the police managed to successfully diffuse the bomb before it exploded.
It was initially a target in 2013 Hyderabad blasts, but later withdrew because of the security at the temple. In 2013, two bombs exploded close to the temple - one at A1 Mirchi Bajji Centre and the other at the Venkatadri Cinema
