The demolition case of actress Kangana Ranaut took an interesting turn with the Bombay High Court asking the actor to include Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut and Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) H-ward's designated officer in the plea against BMC over her office demolition.
The constitutional bench comprising justices SJ Kathawalla and RI Chagla which heard the plea filed by the actor directed Kangana to include Sanjay Raut and BMC) H-ward's designated officer.
The case reached the Court after Kangana Ranaut moved the Court to seek directives to declare the demolition of her Pali Hill bungalow by BMC as illegal, subsequently demanding the BMC to demand Rs 2 crore as compensation.
During the hearing of the case, Kangana's counsel submitted a DVD to the Court in which Sanjay Raut has allegedly made threats to the actor.
Mentioning about the DVD, Justice Kathawalla maintained that if the petitioner wants to rely on the DVD, then Sanjay Raut should be allowed to respond to the alleged threats.
