Bus-train collision in Thailand results in multiple fatalities and dozens of injuries
In a bus-train collision reported in Thailand today, not less than 20 passengers were killed, while 30 passengers have developed serious injuries, some media reports claimed.
According to the reports, a bus heading to a temple located in Cha Choeng Sao province on board 30 passengers collided with a train. The collision resulted in the bus overturning on its side.
After receiving information on the sad incident, the local police rushed to the spot and called the rescue force to shift the injured victims to the nearby hospitals and take the bodies out.
The Thai Transport Ministry officials reached the spot and inspected the overturned bus that was damaged severely. The rescue officers had to call for a crane to lift the bus.
