By losing nearly 6.5 billion Elon Musk slips to the third spot in the list of richest people

Elon Musk's American electric vehicle and clean energy company's share value which has been dropping at regular intervals for the past few weeks fell further and closed at $597.95, the lowest value since December 3.

The share value of the electric car company saw a dip by nearly 13 percent on Friday alone. The company's value went down by as much as over $230 billion in the past four weeks.

Elon Musk's rank in the list of the Forbes billionaire rankings fell to the third position following the series of dips in the shares of Tesla over the past few weeks. Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos continues to be at the top position with $175.4 billion, followed by Frenchman Bernard Arnault with $155.6 billion.

What surprised everyone is Tesla, which reported profits with electric vehicle sales in 2020 despite the Coronavirus pandemic losing the share values at regular intervals for the past few weeks.

The Space X founder Elon Musk, who was at the top spot in the list of the Forbes billionaire rankings fell to second place in January this year. Now his fortune fell further, making him the third rockets person.
