With the United States Presidential elections just three months away, Democratic party presidential candidate, former Vice President of US Joe Biden has speeded up his election campaign.
As part of this, Chair of the Democratic National Committee Thomas Edward Perez, aka Tom Perez made some appealing remarks to boost the winning chances of Joe Biden.
Speaking at a virtual ton-hall recently, Tom Perez held Indian Americans as the crucial element in the presidential elections and said votes cast by the Indian living in America can turn out as the game-changer.
Tom Perez listed out at the states that enjoy a huge share of the Indian population and said these states play a pivotal role in the elections. Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania are the state trio Perez stressed about.
As per the information gathered by the AAPI Victory Fund, the count of Indian Americans in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin is 125,000, 156,000, and 37,000 respectively.
On the other hand, Vinay Reddy who recently joined the speechwriter's campaign team appealed to the second-generation Indian Americans to pitch in their votes for Joe Biden.
Looks like, Joe Biden is banking high on the Indian American voters in the United States and believes that they can help him in making it to the President's seat. Earlier, he opposed the Visa ban imposed by Donald Trump and said if he becomes the President, he will suspend the visa ban.
