Palakollu: Can Pawan Do It What Chiru Couldn't?

Update: 2018-05-06 06:42 GMT
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan announced that his party is going to contest in all the constituencies in AP.  So, Jana Sena will field candidates for all the 175 constituencies.  Ever since Pawan Kalyan made this announcement, discussions started on which constituency Pawan will contest.

It is to be remembered that Pawan expressed his wish to contest from Anantapur sometime back.  Though there is no confirmation on Anantapur, there are discussions going in the political circles that Pawan may choose Palakollu in West Godavari district.  Chiranjeevi contested from Palakollu constituency in 2009 elections but he couldn't win the seat.

As the presence of Kapu voters is very high in both the Godavari districts and Palakollu is near to the native place of Konidela family, Pawan might consider contesting from Palakollu.   But Palakollu has been TDP's strong forte, others parties find it tough to win the election.  Even in 2009 when Chiru contested, the Kapu votes divided and that lead to the victory of Congress candidate Usha Rani.  But the situation was different then.

Now the question is whether Pawan would consider the same constituency for his contest or not. If he chooses Palakollu, can he rewrite the history by winning the seat?  Can Pawan do it what Chiru couldn't?
