Cash for vote: Rajnath Singh responded

Update: 2015-06-16 15:40 GMT
The noose around the neck of Telugu Desam party supremo Chandrababu Naidu seemed to be getting tightened in the cash-for-vote scam . Several reports are doing rounds that he may be served with a notice any day by the Anti-Corruption Bureau for his alleged role in the murky deal.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh responded on the matter finally. Rajnath said that he wouldn't interfere in the matter directly. Rajnath Singh stated that home secretary will deal with the issue. "I wouldn't interfere in the issue. Home Secretary will handle the matter. He's been monitoring the issue."

He also refused to answer when asked whether AP CM would be served notices by ACB of TS state. Modi government appears to be distanced from its alliance partner TDP and its chief Chandrababu Naidu in this case. So, TDP is unlikely to escape from this case ;says political observers.
