CBI registered an FIR against Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and conducted raids on his houses on Sunday in connection with the Rs 6.1 crore disproportionate assets case.
An 18-member CBI Team began search operation at Virbhadra Singh's residence in Simha this Morning. CM & his Family Members weren't at home at the time of raids. They went to perform the post-wedding ceremony of CM's Daughter at a temple.
The Investigation Agency filed FIR against the CongressChief Minister followed a case filed by Former AAP Leader Prashant Bhushan. The issue is regarding the illegal assets amassed by Virbhadra Singh during his term as Union Minister of Steel in UPA regime. Raids were conducted simultaneously at 11 places in Himachal Pradesh and New Delhi.
