CBN & KCR response on Victory

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) will form governments in the newly-created states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh respectively as the two parties crushed the Congress to get majority on their own.

Both the Chandra’s buoyed with the response  and thanked people for electing them.While speaking with media TRS President KCR  expressed his gratitude to the people of Telangana for their overwhelming support for his party.

Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan here, KCR said that people have expressed their total faith and confidence in the TRS and it would strive hard to meet their expectations. He said each and every promise made in the manifesto would be fulfilled.

Main focus is on development of agriculture, improving Telangana’s finances, creation of new jobs, industrialisation and turning Hyderabad into an investment hub.’’ KCR said.He informed that the TRS Legislature Party would meet on Saturday to elect a leader and discuss the future course of action.

Other side the to be CM of Seemandhra, Chandrababu also expressed his gratitude  towards voters.Babu termed  his party in Seemandhra as "people's victory" and vowed to develop the state like Singapore.

He said that the people of Seemandhra had given him a big responsibility of rebuilding the State and he would leave no stone unturned to ensure its overall development.Naidu also expressed satisfaction over party's performance in Telangana where the TDP-BJP combine won a sizeable number of seats.

"We have a huge responsibility to rebuild the state and turn it into a Singapore.Some people made all attempts to finish the TDP but finally people answered them with vote power" Naidu said.

TRS will form the first government in Telangana, which is set to become India's 29th state on June 2.Seemandhra, which will come into being as Andhra Pradesh on the same day, will see the TDP government led by N. Chandrababu Naidu.
