The foreign affairs ministry of India asked the AP Chief Minister to lead the delegation and he humbly accepted the request. Foreign ministry today responded to a letter send by the Chinese government and asked Naidu to represent the delegation.This tour is intended to strengthen India-China relations and the delegation consists govt officials, Industrialists and businessman.
Earlier, in the last year Indian government has sent 100 member youth delegation .The delegation is led by Shri Rajeev Gupta, Secretary (Youth Affairs). The delegation visited Beijing, Qufu, Jinan and Shanghai between 25 November and 2 December, 2014.
2015 has been designated as the Visit India Year in China and 2016 as the Visit China Year in India.
