The exam tension and fear about 10th and 12th boards in students and parents have come to an end as the CBSE Board exams for both the classes have begun today. The CBSE said that around 30 lakh students have registered for the exams.

18 lakh students will take the 10th board exams and 12 lakh students will take the 12th board exam this time out of the 30 lakh students.

As per the rules, the Candidates should reach the exam hall on or before 9:45 AM and should be seated in the hall before 10 AM. After 10 AM no student will be allowed to enter the exam hall.

At the time of entering exam halls the students must carry their admit cards or else they will not be permitted to enter the hall.

Keeping in mind the paper leak which happened in 2017, the board has come with password-protected encrypted question papers. The count of encrypted question papers has also increased from 19 to 50.

'The portal for collecting real-time data of absentee students has been strengthened. An integrated portal was developed for submission of internal assessment and practical marks for Class X and XII with photo-tagging of practical exam labs and images of examiners and examinees,' CBSE Secretary Anurag Tripathi said
