PM Modi Mourns Sudden Demise Of Irfan Khan

Bollywood actor Irfan Khan lost his life to the colon infection at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. This news has left the Indian film industry as the members of the film fraternity have expressed their shock for Irfan Khan's demise.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to pay his tributes to one of the greatest actors of our times. Modi said that he will be remembered for his versatile performances.
 
"Irrfan Khan's demise is a loss to the world of cinema and theatre. He will be remembered for his versatile performances across different mediums. My thoughts are with his family, friends and admirers. May his soul rest in peace," Narendra Modi's tweet read.

Irfan Khan acted in some of the global hits like Slumdog Millionaire, Life of Pi, The Amazing Spider Man, Jurassic World and New York I Love You.

What's even more heartwarming is that three days back Irfan lost his mother Saida Begum on the 25 th of April and couldn't go for her last rites as the lockdown was active in India.

Bollywood mourned the death of one of the finest actors in India. Rana Daggubati and Mahesh Babu paid tributes to Irfan Khan. Irfan Khan acted as an antagonist in Mahesh Babu's Sainikudu film.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also paid tributes to the actor on Twitter. "Anguished over the sad news of Irrfan Khan's demise. He was a versatile actor, whose art had earned global fame and recognition. Irrfan was an asset to our film industry. In him, the nation has lost an exceptional actor and a kind soul. My condolences to his family and followers," his tweet read.
