Rs 1500 Crore Or Rs 2500 Crore For Amaravati?

Update: 2018-02-09 05:20 GMT
Contrast statements made by Central and State Governments over the allocation of funds to Andhra Pradesh has been raising many doubts. Union Government claims it had released Rs 2,500 crore for AP Capital construction which include Assembly, Secretariat and High Court. It also assures more funds will be offered if AP Government proves how it spent the amount in the form of Utilization Certificate.

Whereas, TDP Government keeps saying only Rs 1,500 crore were released by centre so far. Chandrababu questions how fair is it to offer just Rs 1,500 crore instead of Rs 11,000 crore and seek utilization certificate. At the when state bandh was observed, Municipal Minister P Narayana informed state government had submitted utilization certificate to centre long back.

On the other hand, AP BJP Leaders launched counter attack on TDP to send the indication that State Government is making baseless allegations. They will be meeting party leadership Today in Delhi to decide the future course of action. Post this meeting, BJP might make it clear how much funds it had offered to AP with statistics. If that happens, What would be TDP's stand?
