TDP Thota Narasimhan appealed Union Government to set up AP High Court in Amaravati as early as possible. He reminded that it's a promise made to the residuary state of Andhra Pradesh as per AP Reorganisation Act, 2014.
In reply, Ravi Shankar Prasad made it clear he has been in touch with CMs of Telugu States regarding High Court division. He would wants the infrastructure to be ready for approving the division of High Court. The Law Minister asked TDP MPs to focus on the construction of the High Court buildings.
Law Minister, however, didn't respond on other questions raised by the TDP MP. This include increase of Justices in AP and setting up of High Court benches in Vizag and Tirupati.
