Agitations Effect: Centre Sanctions Funds To AP!

Update: 2018-02-10 06:58 GMT
Union Government has been facing the heat of the ongoing agitation in Delhi and Andhra Pradesh. BJP Leaders are in a tricky situation as none of the parties including its alliance partners have been convinced by the statements issued by Finance Minister in the recent past. At the same time, AP MPs did manage to stall the Parliament proceedings and make other Parliamentarians realize the seriousness of the situation.

Revolt by TDP despite being an alliance partner pushed Modi Government into defense. The pressure kept mounting on the Centre day-by-day. It's because of the same reason Centre decided to calm down the agitating MPs with few measures before the budget session resumes on March 5th.

Union Finance Minister sanctioned Rs 369 crore as per the recommendations of 14th Finance Commission. Another Rs 31,76 crore were released under a Centrally-sponsored Scheme.

However, AP MPs hasn't given much importance to the nominal funds sanctioned by the Centre. They are well aware of the fact that Delhi Rulers will take advantage of it if they react positively for just few hundreds of crores.
