With the total Corona infections in India surpassing the 77 lakh mark, all are eagerly waiting to know when the potential vaccine to cure the ongoing pandemic will be rolled out.

Amid this, the centre led by PM Narendra Modi has allocated a mammoth 500 billion rupees to distribute the vaccine across the nation for free of cost, media reports claimed.

Two doses of vaccines should be given to every person in the country to beat the pandemic. The government is expected to spend around $6-$7 per person for vaccination.

To see that no problem arises in providing vaccination for the country which is at the second spot in terms of population, the government has allocated 500 billion rupees, reports said.

The reports came days after, Prime Minister announced his government is working on an action plan to distribute the vaccine across the nation to combat the respiratory disease.

Distributing the vaccine across the nation that too in a densely populated country will going to be a huge task for the government.
