Centre's Think Tank recognizes Basavatarakam as best Private Trust Hospital

As a shot in the arm for the services offered by Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute run by Nandamuri Balakrishna, Centre's public policy think tank Niti Aayog had recognised the hospital as the best Private trust hospital in the country.

Along with Basavatarakam, Puttaparthi's Satyasai Hospital was also recognised by Niti Aayog as the hospitals that serve people without looking for profits.

In its report, Niti Aayog recommended that the donations received by the hospitals should be exempted from the tax by 100 percent. It also recommended that the facilities should be given the reimbursement quickly.

Taking to Facebook, Nandamuri Balakrishna shared the news of Basavatarakam hospital getting the recognition from Niti Aayog. He said the honour should go to his father NTR and thanked the Management, doctors and nurses.

This tremendous honour is entirely due to my father, Late Sri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Garu, whose vision was to assist the needy and provide world-class cancer treatment at an affordable cost. Thank you to the Board of Trustees, generous donors, Management, Doctors, Nurses, and Staff at Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute for making my father's vision a reality. Congratulations to everyone," Balakrishna said in a post.

Over the years, Basavatarakam Hospital earned the reputation of offering best treatment for Cancer patients at affordable prices. People with with cards will be given extra concession in the hospital charges.
