Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu reportedly expressed dissatisfaction on the way police department functioning in the state.Naidu conducted a review meeting with DGP Ramudu in secretariat and he expressed anger on the higher officials for not upgrading in tune with government functioning.
Naidu reportedly shouted on them saying Police working as per their terms and filing cases as per their choices.He specially mentioned names of Intelligence IG Anuradha and Guntur SP Ramakrishna and said that they are not working as per standards. He reportedly expressed displeasure on Ramkrishna who stopped foreign officials outside the gate when they came to meet Naidu in Vijayawada.
He lambasted saying that no one is working properly from DGP to constable.He also angered on the police for filing cases on Guntur farmers in name of suspicion. The Chief Minister suggested the police department to use technology and set goals. Director General of Police JV Ramudu gave a presentation on the status of Law & Order situation in Andhra Pradesh during the meeting .
