Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu surprised everyone by coming to the assembly to cast his vote in the Presidential polls. As the Telugu Desam Party chief earlier said that he will not step inside the Assembly house till he becomes the Chief Minister, it was a surprise to everyone.

Chandrababu Naidu's action came as a surprise to the political circles in the state. YSRCP Rajya Sabha member Vijay Sai Reddy decided not to miss the chance to go from the hand and took a dig at Chandrababu Naidu.

Taking to the microblogging site Twitter, Vijay Sai Reddy said that Chandrababu Naidu might have gotten clarity that he cannot become the Chief Minister and that's why he cast his vote. After taking a dig at Chandrababu Naidu, Vijay Sai Reddy also targeted the yellow media and said the media is not learning it though Chandrababu got the clarity.

“He vowed that he would not enter the Assembly till he becomes CM… but Babu kept his promise aside and cast his vote. He has the clarity that he can no longer be CM. But the yellow media is going crazy,' his tweets translate to English.

It is known that Chandrababu Naidu took a pledge to not enter the Assembly after the ruling YSRCP reportedly used objectionable comments against his wife in the Assembly house last year. Now he broke the promise.
