Rs 4,000 crore for AP Capital?

AP has become a capital-less state all of a sudden due to lack of farsightedness of our rulers. This is no joke but a reality every Andhrite had to deal with at least till a new capital was created from the scratch.

Reportedly, Centre promised to offer an immediate financial assistance of Rs 1,500 crore for AP Capital construction works. However, State Government is of the opinion a huge mission like Amaravathi can't take off with insufficient funds. AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu who will be meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi soon is likely to appeal for a fund of at least Rs 4,000 to start the works.

TDP Government wishes to kickstart the construction of Amaravathi from Dussehra 2015, that's when the foundation stone will be laid in the presence of Prime Ministers of India, Singapore and Japan.
