Chandrababu Naidu Breaks Down Emotionally In Assembly!

Update: 2021-11-19 10:16 GMT
The second day of the Assembly sessions in Andhra Pradesh started on a hot note with a fierce war of words between ruling YSRCP and opposition Telugu Desam Party(TDP) in the house. Not providing a chance to speak on the issues for the TDP members gave rise to the tussle in the Assembly.

Things escalated quickly when the YSRCP leaders targeted TDP supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu personally by involving his wife Nara Bhuvaneshwari. This made the former Chief Minister burst into tears. He questioned the ugly behavior of the leaders and vowed to not enter the house until he makes it to the Chief Minister post.

With an emotional tone, Chandrababu Naidu said he took the decision as he is unable to see the leaders dragging his wife into the issue. His mic was cut off making him unable to address the house. They are not even sparing the women, he said. Unable to tolerate the behavior, Chandrababu Naidu walked out of the house followed by other TDP leaders.

During the sessions on Friday, Andhra Pradesh Civil Supplies Minister Kodali Nani targeted Chandrababu Naidu and said their government has no issues in discussing any topic in the state and asked whether the discussion be started from Chandrababu Naidu's backstabbing incident. The TDP leaders have condemned the Minister's comments.

Not taking a backstep, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu said, the debate should be done and it should not be only on backstabbing. From Babai Goddali to Thalliki Droham, all the topics should be discussed, he said.

Chandrababu Naidu was attacked verbally by Minister Kurasala Kannababu on Friday in the house. Talking about agriculture, the Minister said, rains used to not come properly in the previous regime while rainfall is adequate in the current government. He called Chandrababu Naidu the twin brother of drought.

Reacting to Chandrababu Naidu's emotional breakdown, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said his party members did not talk about his family and said the records in the house can be examined if there are any doubts. It was he, who spoke about my uncle and sister. He is in frustration, Jagan said.
