TDP's Strange Dilemma In Vizag District

Update: 2020-09-17 11:25 GMT
The TDP is facing a strange dilemma in Visakhapatnam. In the runup to the 2019 elections, party chief Chandrababu Naidu had ignored senior TDP leaders who had put in years of service in the party and had given tickets to newcomers with no track record in the party.

Balakrishna's son-in-law Sri Bharat was given the TDP ticket in Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha seat. Simiarly, Adari Anand was given the ticket to contest from Anakapalle. Similarly, Kishore Chandra Deo, who migrated to the TDP from the Congress into the TDP, was given the ticket to contest from the tribal reserved constituency  of Araku. All these three had lost the elections. After losing the elections, all the three have not been seen in the public. They have withdrawn from the public life and are busy with their own businesses.

The sincere party workers who had toiled hard for years, are keeping away from the party activities as they have been denied the ticket. Now the TDP has lost both the worlds. The loyal party workers were miffed while the newcomers disappeared as fast as they came.

Now the TDP is looking for leaders to revive the party in the district. There is no one to take care of the Lok Sabha constituencies.
