Days after losing the Municipal elections in his Assembly constituency, Telugu Desam Party(TDP) supremo, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu faced another embarrassment.
Some unidentified men had set fire to hoardings erected at the R&B Guest House in Kuppam. These hoardings were erected by the local TDP leaders when Chandrababu Naidu campaigned for the party for the Civic Body Polls.
After the hoardings were burnt, the local leaders alleged that unidentified people did this purposefully and wanted a police case to be filed against them who are behind this act.
During Chandrababu's visit to Kuppam for the Civic Body polls, a section of people tried to stop Chandababu's campaign alleging that he didn't care for voters in his Assembly constituency.
The opposition TDP lost the Municipal elections in Kuppam. The party was restricted to a mere 14 Panchayats, while the ruling YRSCP had won 75 out of 89 Panchayats in the constituency.
