AP CM Chandrababu Naidu sold out half-an-acre land in Srikakulam with the mediation of Labour Minister Atchannaidu.
In Balaga of Srikakulam, TDP Supremo owns 45.5 cents of land in Survey No.18/678. He bought it in 2002 for the construction of TDP Office. However, Construction Work hasn't begun even after conducting Bhoomi Pooja. TDP Leadership decided to construct the party office near the 80 feet road leading to Collector Office by selling land in Balaga. Unfortunately, None came forward to buy CM's land all these days. At last, Reddy Chiranjeevi purchased the property for Rs 1.70 crore after the intervention of Atchannaidu.
Actually, Local TDP Leaders discussed about the sale of land in party coordination committee meeting in 2015. While Atchannaidu fixed Rs 1.55 crore as the sale price, Few Leaders demanded an auction saying the land could fetch a price up to Rs 2 crore. However, The auction fetched only Rs 1.61 crore in September 2016 in the form of tender. Shockingly, None of the participated on the day of auction. Finally, Lokesh gave the responsibility to Atchannaidu and the deal was closed for a fair price in the end.
