AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu lambasted BJP after it referred the Private Member's Bill moved by KVP Ramachandra Rao in Rajya Sabha to Lok Sabha to determine if its a Money Bill or Not.
In a press meet held few hours after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, Chandrababu Naidu questioned, 'Are they trying to cheat the People? After agreeing for a Debate in Rajya Sabha, You have referred the Bill to Lok Sabha to check whether or not its a Money Bill. Sending the Private Member's Bill to Lok Sabha is an attempt to dilute the Special Status issue'.
Naidu didn't even spare Congress party which according to him is using the Special Status issue for political gains.
Party MP Sujana Chowdary thumping the desks along with other Union Ministers after Rajya Sabha deputy chairman referred KVP's private member's bill to Lok Sabha also irked the TDP Government. AP CM openly condemned the act of party member.
