Why Chandrababu Is Worried About Maratha Agitation?

Update: 2018-07-31 15:04 GMT
The Marathas are angry and sullen. They are taking to streets and are resorting to violence. They are remanding 16 per cent reservation commensurate with their population in the state of Maharashtra. Already they have intensified the agitation in Pune and have burnt over 40 buses. They have also damaged another 50 vehicles. There is Section 144 in several districts and two youths - Pramod  Singh of Aurangabad and another youth in Nanded have committed suicide demanding reservations to Marathas.

All these developments are giving sleepless nights to one person in Andhra Pradesh. He is watching the turns the movement is taking with alarm. That person is none other than Chandrababu Naidu. He is worried because this movement could have an impact on the Kapu demand for reservations and Kapus too could launch a major movement.

With Jagan already making it clear that he would not be in a position to give reservations to Kapus, the Kapus are now asking Chandrababu Naidu to fulfil his assurance of giving reservations to them.Intel reports also say that the Kapus are very angry and are watching the Maratha reservation very closely. Chandrababu is shuddering to think that the Kapus too could go the Maratha way.
