Chandrababu Naidu's Statement on Special Package

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu told Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley's mentioned about four aspects (AP Reorganisation Bill, 14th Finance Commission, Former PM Manmohan Singh's statement in Upper House and Nethi Ayog).

TDP Supremo made a statement on Special Package announcement in Legislative Council on Thursday. 'We don't comprise at all. I didn't receive an opportunity to make a statement on Special Package during Assembly proceedings. YCP isn't in a position to listen to the version of TDP Government,' he told.

Naidu further added, 'AP have been facing many issues since bifurcation. I had visited Delhi several times for Special Status. AP need to deal with Revenue Deficit until 2020. We are doing our best to overcome the crisis. Few parties even objected Pattiseema project. Now, The same project emerged as a solution for water woes. Our goal is to complete Polavaram project by 2018. Centre promised 100 percent reimbursement of Polavaram project cost. As per the current estimate, Rs 25,000 to 30,000 crore will be required to complete the project. We would accept whatever Centre offers and demand what is yet to be done'.

Chief Minister claimed TDP was never after Union Cabinet Berths citing the appointment of Balayogi as Lok Sabha Speaker as an example. He told Centre assured to offer every benefit of Special Status through Special Package.

Babu promised decentralization of power even though AP Capital is arriving between Guntur-Vijayawada. He told Visakha should get Railway Zone, Central University and Tribal University. He claims to be working with the sole aim of making Amaravati one among Top 5 best cities in the World.
