AP CM Chandrababu Naidu held an emergency Tele Conference with Politburo Members on Friday morning. It's then, TDP Supremo decided to end alliance with NDA and move No Confidence Motion against Centre.
Chandrababu Naidu sent a letter to BJP Chief Amit Shah informing about the factors prompted to quit NDA. He conveyed that denying Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh is the major reason behind withdrawing support to NDA.
Ever since the budget session began, TDP has been demanding Special Status along with YSR Congress but Centre continued to ignore the sentiment. In addition, YCP's No Confidence Motion troubled the Ruling Party. A day after declaring TDP would support whoever might move the Motion, Chandrababu Naidu took a u-turn only to ensure YSRC doesn't get the credit.
Today, YSR Congress Party is going to move No Trust Motion against NDA Government. It appealed all the regional and national parties including TDP to extend support to the Motion. YCP MP YV Subba Reddy offered a notice to Lok Sabha secretary on Thursday to move No Confidence Motion on Friday. Even a Whip has been issued by YCP Leadership on Party MPs. CM Chandrababu Naidu announced in Assembly that TDP would support YCP's Motion. He, however, decided to end tie-up with NDA and move the Motion to ensure YCP doesn't gain the mileage.
