Soon after Telecom Service Providers reported to the Court that they have carried out phone tapping only due to the clear instruction from Telangana Government, AP Chief Minsiter Chandrababu Naidu took this opportunity to bring the whole issue to the notice of Union Government.

In its report to centre, AP mentioned the names of 2 IAS and 2 IPS Officers working with Telangana All India Service and also submitted the copies of the authorization letters issued by them to the Telecom Service Providers. It also added, the target of the phone tapping were AP CM, Nara Lokesh, TDP in-charge RD Janardan, MPs CM Ramesh, Garikapati Mohan Rao, MLC Nominee Vem Narender Reddy, Revanth Reddy, Sandra Venkata Veeraiah and few other party MLAs.

During the Cabinet meeting held in Vijayawada on Friday, Chandrababu Naidu expressed confidence that Centre will initiate action against Telangana Government for violating the norms like seeking prior permission before tapping the phones of CM & his partymen. Centre might serve notices to these four Telangana officials seeking their explanation in the issue very soon.
