Is TDP Leadership keen to end the ties with BJP? The U-Turn taken by CM Chandrababu Naidu over Polavaram has been sending such an indication.
Sources close to TDP say, Chandrababu isn't in a hurry to snap ties with BJP. Instead, He wants to wait for the right opportunity to capitalize. The plan is to maintain ties with the Saffron Party until he gets an official confirmation from Jana Sena Chief.
Chandrababu Naidu is of the view that alliance with Pawan Kalyan-led Jana Sena will be more beneficial to TDP than dostana with BJP. If TDP-Jana Sena alliance materialize, Then Chandrababu would have the luxury to throw the entire blame on BJP over failure in implementation of the promises such as Special Category Status, Polavaram Project, Compensating Revenue Deficit and allocation of funds.
People of AP have negative impression on BJP for backtracking on all the major promises. Telugu Desam won't benefit much from alliance with the Saffron Party during the next general elections. Hence, Babu is trying to make use of Pawan Kalyan's image.
