The TDP chief and Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu badly needs a mediator. Yes. You heard it right. He wants a mediator. And why does he need a mediator?
If the reports we are receiving are right, then Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is looking for a mediator to talk to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. With the tide turning against him, Chandrababu realises that it is not possible to win the coming elections in the state. He is facing difficult times because of deep anti-incumbency. A similar situation existed even during 2014. So, he roped in the BJP and the Jana Sena to scrape through.
Now that both Jana Sena and the BJP are out of the alliance, Chandrababu has realised that he needs some prop to win the elections. He feels he should open channels with Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan and clinch some kind of deal with him. So, he needs someone to mediate with Pawan and convince him. The personality who will mediate should have close relations with Pawan and should be able to reason with him. Initially, he tried to use the services of CPM top boss Sitharam Yechuri. But, Yechuri appeared uninterested. So, he is looking for someone who can influence Pawan. He is planning to rope in some film personalities or politicians from neighbouring states.
But, once bitten Pawan appears to be twice shy. Will he bite the bullet? Will he back Chandrababu again? Or will he turn Gabbar Singh for Chandrababu Naidu and fight him at the hustings? Let's wait how things unfold!!
