Chandrababu not to leave Hyderabad even for Assembly session

Update: 2021-05-24 07:10 GMT
For a politician known to be always hyperactive and for someone known to work for 18 hours a day, Chandrababu Naidu is totally inactive these days. He is not meeting any party leader nor addressing any party meeting. The latest is that he has decided not to attend the assembly session which would be held on Thursday.

Normally very active, Chandrababu has become quite inactive. He has not met the party workers in several months. He has not visited his home turf of Kuppam in several months. Even during the Covid period, he has not visited Kuppam and taken stock of the situation. Thus the people of Kuppam could not get any help from their legislator.

Except for the Tirupati bypolls, there is no other instance of Chandrababu Naidu visiting AP. For most of the time, he is confined to Hyderabad city, from where he is talking to the party leaders through virtual and online modes.  The latest is that he has decided not to attend the Assembly's budget session on Thursday. If sources are to be believed, even the TDP is set to abstain from the budget meet of the AP Assembly. TDP insiders wonder why Chandrababu is letting go an opportunity to criticise the government. What is the use of demanding an all-party meeting at every given opportunity, when one is not attending even the assembly, they wonder.
