Chandrababu Offering Free Salt

Salt, which is indispensable to make dishes palatable, may be available to free of cost  at a time when most of the commodities are going out of their reach. According to reports Andhra Pradesh government is planning to offer free salt to its people.

AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu held a meeting with the minister for civil supplies Paritala Sunitha, commissioner for civil supplies Sanjay Jaju and other officials yesterday and he reportedly asked the department to consider providing iodised salt in commodities.

Providing it free will increase its consumption and costing the government Rs 20 crore a year but Babu wants to implement it as it gives good mileage for his government. Naidu also asked them to examine the possibility of providing 35 kg of rice free to 10 lakh beneficiaries of Antyodaya Anna Yojana.Lets how this free salt scheme will help to Chandrababu.
