Delhi Police have plans to file chargesheet against 21 Aam Admi Party Legislators including the party chief and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on whom criminal cases have been registered in several police stations.
As per Delhi Cops, As many as 48 cases have been registered against AAP MLAs. While a compromise has been reached in one case, Another was declared untraced. On Arvind Kejriwal alone 3 cases have been filed. Currently, Around 20 cases on pending trail and another 24 cases are under investigation. While Kondli MLA was facing charges of molestation and cheating, Assembly Speaker is accused of rioting and assaulting workers.
AAP allege NDA Government has raised this issue using the Delhi Police only to divert the attention from Sushma Swaraj-Lalit Modi row. At the same time, It questioned why don't Delhi Police bother about the criminal cases filed against BJP Leaders. AAP Leaders claims most of the cases are filed when the party had hold demonstrations and staged protests.
