Senior politician, former minister and president of Kapu Sankshema Nadu Chegondi Hari Rama Jogaiah's letter to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is now the hot topic of discussion in the political circles of Andhra Pradesh. Jogaiah asked Pawan Kalyan to align with the TDP for the 2024 elections. He said that the YSRCP could be defeated if both the Jana Sena and the TDP come together.

Hari Rama Jogaiah is considered quite close to Pawan Kalyan. It may be recalled that Pawan Kalyan took the blessings of Jogaiah before entering into politics. Jogaiah is said to have advised Pawan at various stages in his political career. Hence, the letter from Jogaiah on an alliance with the TDP is being considered quite significant.

In his letter, Jogaiah asked Pawan Kalyan not to fall into the YSRCP trap. He pointed out that the YSRCP has been asking Pawan to contest without any alliance. He said this was a ploy to divide the opposition vote. He said by aligning with the TDP, Pawan can actually defeat the YSRCP easily. He said that it was about time Pawan Kalyan clarified his position on the issue of alliance, Jogaiah said.

Sources say that Pawan too feels that an alliance with the TDP was important to defeat the YSRCP. But, so far, he has not made any categorical announcement. He said a decision would be taken at the right time. But, Jogaiah feels that Pawan should clear the air on alliance with the Telugu Desam Party. It remains to be seen how Pawan Kalyan reacts to Jogaiah's missive.
